Inspection Report : Facility Name <br /> Pilkington North America, Inc. <br /> Photograph No.57: The 55-gallon drum containing empty paint cans with the start <br /> accumulation date of 8125110 that was stared for more than 90 days in the hazardous waste <br /> storage building <br /> I <br /> d 4' <br /> - r <br /> DTSC staff also observed one 5-gallon bucket containing lead acid batteries, a pallet <br /> containing empty paint containers, one pallet containing e-waste, and one 55-gallon drum of <br /> waste oil without accumulation start date in the hazardous waste storage building. PNA <br /> violated Cal. Code Regs., tit. 22, § 66265.31, in that the facility failed to properly label one 5- <br /> gallon bucket containing lead acid batteries, a pallet containing empty paint containers, and <br /> one 55-gallon drum of waste oil in the hazardous waste storage area. In addition, PNA violated <br /> Cal. Code Regs., tit. 22, § 66273.34(c) and 66273.33(c) in that PNA failed to properly mark <br /> electronic devices with the phase "Universal Waste" and also failed to contain universal waste <br /> in a closed, structurally sound container. In addition, PNA violated Cal. Code Regs., tit. 22, § <br /> 66273.35 in that PNA failed to demonstrate a date on which the electronic devices became a <br /> waste.
