If safe, employees and/or contractors should walk to <br /> main employee parking lot. <br /> Secondary Assembly Areas <br /> These areas should be used only when movement to the prime areas places the <br /> employees and/or contractors in immediate danger. <br /> • just south of the lab/PG & E substation <br /> • in area next to the Marley Water Tower <br /> Assembly Areas: Exceptions <br /> In the case of a chemical release, wind direction and other factors may dictate whether <br /> an evacuation is appropriate. In certain instances, staying inside the building may be <br /> safer. In those cases, the security officer will notify employees via the communication <br /> system, to SHELTER IN PLACE. Employees and/or contractors will be required to <br /> assemble in the break rooms. <br /> In the case of a chemical release, the security officer will as part of notifying employees <br /> of the need to evacuate, give the wind direction so employees and/or contractors can <br /> stay up wind when exiting the facility and/or assembling at a designated area. <br /> Assembly Areas Head Counts <br /> Upon arrival to assembly areas, supervisors will immediately take a head count of <br /> employees and/or contractors under their supervision.
