Pilkington will participate.in,any joint incident command system with <br /> responding agencies, to facilitate a;timely response to the emergency.,. <br /> Roles of the Pilkington Incident Command Team are.as follows: <br /> Plant Manager` (incident commander?-' shall coordinate and make <br /> available all necessary resources for an effective response and shall <br /> maintain communications with corporate. <br /> • Area Managers shall provide technical assistance and coordinate the <br /> use of materials/equipment necessary for response as well as <br /> trained personnel to assist in incident control. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL Manager or Health & Safety Coordinator shall be <br /> responsible for securing area, accountability of employees, and <br /> crowd control. ENVIRONMENTAL Manager or Health & Safety <br /> Coordinator shall determine if the incident poses a threat to the <br /> safety and health of employees. In addition, shall assess the <br /> situation to determine if:hazardous materials are present and <br /> F whether they pose a threat to responders, the surrounding <br /> community or the environment. Will provide technical information <br /> including Material Safety Data Sheets. ENVIRONMENTAL Manager <br /> or Health & Safety Coordinator shall act'as incident commander. <br /> • Human Resources Manager shall be responsible for communications <br /> with media. <br /> • If the emergency occurs during - non-business hours, the incident <br /> commander shall be the highest ranking manager/supervisor on-site. <br /> Once appropriate personnel arrive on-site, the incident commander <br /> may change. <br /> Incident Command shall, if appropriate, include: <br /> 909R5003 Rev. 5/20/04 <br />
