This section contains <br /> supplementary information not found in other sections of the emergency <br /> response plan. <br /> JI <br /> Storage Locations . <br /> Hazardous Waste Collection ` <br /> Immediately south of the laboratory is the hazardous waste collection site. <br /> Hazardous waste generated'•withiri`the facility is moved to this location for final <br /> disposition. Across the road (north), outside the laboratory door, is a red <br /> emergency telephone that goes directly to security. <br /> i The area consists of the following' <br /> • A metal building, secured by a locking gate,'with secondary <br /> containment. Fire suppression is by foam (fire extinguisher also <br /> present). Located within, the building is .a 20 yard hazardous waste bin <br /> where lead/silver based solid waste (D008 & D01 1) goes 'as well as <br /> waste from the hardware area. The building also stores drums of other <br /> hazardous waste (i.e. oily waste solids). <br /> • Concrete pad with. secondary containment for storage of drums of <br /> waste oil, rinsing of drums, and an oil/water separator. An eye wash <br /> station is located here. <br /> • An area west of the concrete pad for the storage of empty drums. <br /> Drums are stored on their sides and in rows by manufacturer. <br /> • An area east of the building for storage of new, empty drums <br /> 90985003 Rev. 5/20/04 <br /> i <br />
