All of the finished products at
Blue Mountain Minerals consist of crushed and ground, naturally occurring
carbonate rocks. The natural rock, commonly referred to as limestone,
consists predominately of the minerals calcite (CaCO3) and dolomite
(CaMgC206). Attached is a typical chemical analysis.
Being a natural carbonate rock, the pH ranges from 8 to 9, and the specific
gravity is around 2.6 to 2.8. The product is non-combustible and has a low
solubility, of around 0.035 grams per liter at 100 degrees Celsius. The
crushed rock is considered chemically stable.
I hope this provides you with the information you need. Please do not
hesitate to call if I can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
Care au y
Vi a7
Presi ology & Quality Control
