Garrett Backus [EH]
From: RJ Beckham <rbeckham@itctrucks.com>
Sent: Thursday, March 10, 2016 1:01 PM
To: Garrett Backus [EH]
Subject: 825 Navy Drive site closure
Jan. 28, 2016
Site closure at 825 Navy Drive, Stockton.
San Joaquin County Environmental Health inspectors; Stacy Rivera REHS, and Robert Lopez.
The inspection was for site closure. A small amount of oil was observed on the floor in one
of the rooms in the main building. A flywheel surfacing machine had been located there. I
dispatched our personnel to clean up the oil residue at the time of inspection. They used a
couple shop rags and brake cleaner to clean up the residue. The oil amounted to less than a
ounce. The rags were not saturated, so were returned to our new facility. The company
that is contracted to do our shop laundry picked up and cleaned the 2 rags.
Ms. Rivera was kind enough to allow me to write a short story and show her the picture sent
to my phone of the cleaned area. She signed off the "Return to compliance" sheet at the time
of inspection, but accidently took both copies. I did not realize this until later. Then later on
the phone, I asked about our copy, and she said "She could not find either of the copies."
This is an explanation of a lack of a "Return to compliance" sheet signed on Jan. 28, 2016.
R.J.
