'HASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS _5_ <br />GENERAL ORDER FOR DISCHARGE OF <br />GROUND WATER FROM CLEANUP OF <br />PETROLEUM FUEL POLLUTION <br />TO SURFACE WATERS <br />2. Creation of pollution, contamination, or nuisance, as defined by <br />Section 13050 of the California Water Code, is prohibited. <br />3. A discharge in excess of 100,000 gpd is prohibited. <br />C. Effluent Limitations <br />1. The discharge shall not have a pH of less than 6.5 nor greater than <br />8.5. <br />3. There shall be no acute toxicity in undiluted effluent. Solids Disposal: <br />1. Collected screenings, sludges, and other solids removed from liquid <br />wastes or used to treat liqutid wastes shall be disposed of in a <br />manner that is consistent with Chapter 15, Division 3, Title 23, of <br />the CCR and approved by the Executive Officer. <br />2. Any proposed change in solids use or disposal practice shall be <br />reported to the Executive Officer and EPA Regional Administrator at <br />least 90 days in advance of the change. <br />
