CA0083003 <br />FOR <br />SHELL OIL COMPANY <br />STOCKTON BULK FUEL DISTRIBUTION FACILITY <br />WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM DISCHARGE <br />SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />INFLUENT MONITORING <br />Influent samples shall be collected after the last connection before the wastes enters the treatment <br />process. Influent samples should be representative of the volume and nature of the influent. Time of <br />collection of a arab sample shall be recorded. The following shall constitute the influent monitoring <br />program: <br />Type of Sampling <br />Constituents Units Sample Frequency <br />Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon <br />mg/1 <br />Grab <br />Monthly <br />Benzene <br />µg/1 <br />Grab <br />Monthly <br />Ethylbenzene <br />p g/1 <br />Grab <br />Monthly <br />Toluene <br />p g/I <br />Grab <br />Monthly <br />Xylene <br />µ g/1 <br />Grab <br />Monthly <br />Lead (total) <br />µg/l <br />Grab <br />Monthly <br />EFFLUENT MONITORING <br />Effluent samples shall be collected either as batch grab or composite samples from Tank 16, or as grab <br />or composite samples downstream from the last connection through which wastes can be admitted into <br />the outfall (see Footnotes ' and 3, below). Effluent samples should be representative of the volume and <br />nature of the discharge. Time of collection of a grab sample shall be recorded. The following shall <br />constitute the ettluent monitoring program: <br />
