0 <br />CLEAN-UP <br />The cleaning up of any spill must begin as soon as possible to <br />minimize damage. Once the spill is contained in a relatively <br />isolated area , begin removal. <br />All absorbents used in the clean-up of spilled hazardous materials <br />shall be deposited in the 55 gallon drum marked Hazardous Material <br />Clean -Up Residue. <br />Never deposit contaminated clean up residue in trash dumpsters. <br />Depending on the location and the materials spilled, the E.P.A. may <br />require soil decontamination. Disposal of the contaminated soil <br />will be removed and disposed of as directed by the Safety Director <br />or appropriate regulatory agency in charge. <br />• Any questions you might have regarding any procedures mentioned <br />herein should be brought to the attention of the Terminal Manager <br />or the Director of Safety. <br />• <br />Page 6 <br />
