He was unsure of the exact start date, but said it was over a year. Facilities that generate up to <br /> one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that generate one ton or more of <br /> used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and <br /> submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br /> A black 55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters behind the shop did not have a start date. Used oil filters shall be <br /> drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters," and marked <br /> with an accumulation start date. Immediately mark a start date and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in <br /> this way. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by November 26, 2016. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials <br /> information online to the California Environmental Reporting System(CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
