UU
Ray Von Flue DEC 2 ?003
Environmental Health Dept. E1Vv1
San Joaquin County PERMIT.SS' i`E ij'I
'v6i6
Dear Ray,
I have included responses to all issues from your recent hazardous waste as well as
underground storage tank inspections. The only issue remaining is item# 10 from the
hazardous waste inspection regarding the fuel filters on the dispensers at the fuel island.
We have asked Stockton Service Station Equipment, Co. to remove and bypass these
diesel fuel filters as soon as they get the chance. We will dispose of them as hazardous
waste and I will fax proof of same to you as soon as it is done.
The issue of who will be responsible for spill disposal at the fuel island is still to be
determined as we are negotiating with Ryder to resolve the question. Ultimately we feel
the spill disposal absorbent will be going on the Ryder EPA number but until it is
decided, it will remain as Super Store Industries EPA number. I will notify you as soon as
the change is made. Call me if any questions at(209) 858-3384.
Thank you,
Jim McAnelly
SSI
