Care will be taken to ensure that no headspace is <br /> present in the sample tube. Immediately after the sample is sealed, it will be <br /> ' stored on ice in a cooler and maintained in that condition until delivery to a <br /> laboratory certified by the State of California Department of Health Services to <br /> ' perform the specified analyses. Chain-of-custody documentation will be <br /> maintained during all sampling and transmittal procedures. The condition of the <br /> ' samples will be noted by laboratory personnel on the chain-of-custody <br /> documents.
