' Job No. 4780201 • • 6 <br /> t3.3 Well Development & Sampling <br /> Groundwater monitoring well MW-1 will be developed and sampled using EPA- <br /> and State-approved methodologies. During development, at least 10 casing <br /> volumes of groundwater will be removed from the well in an effort to remove <br /> suspended materials and stabilize the well sand-pack. <br /> After development, the well will be allowed to stabilize for at least 24-hours <br /> wprior to sampling. During pre-sampling purging, at least three well-casing <br /> volumes of groundwater will be removed from the well using a dedicated <br /> Ndisposable bailer. During purging, evacuated groundwater will be observed for <br /> the presence of sheen or odor and physical groundwater parameter readings, <br /> ' including electrical conductivity, temperature, turbidity, and pH, will be taken <br /> until these readings indicate that the well has stabilized. <br /> Once the well has stabilized, samples will be collected using a dedicated <br /> disposable bailer. Sample material will be dispensed into bottles appropriate for <br /> the required analyses. The water will be transferred from the bailer to the <br /> bottles in a manner that will minimize the evaporation of volatile constituents. <br /> Each bottle will be filled in a manner that will diminish any entrapped air or <br /> headspace. The bottles will then be secured, labeled, and placed on ice in a <br /> ' cooler for transport to the laboratory. Groundwater produced during sampling <br /> procedures will be contained in labeled, 55-gallon drums and stored on-site <br /> ' pending appropriate disposal. <br /> ' 3.4 Sample Analyses <br /> ' All soil and groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPHd, TPHg, and BTEX. <br /> ' The groundwater sample collected from well MW-1 will also be analyzed for <br /> MTBE.
