EpE.w.
Environmental/Engineering Consuftonis
April 20, 1993
Job No. 4780200 V MAY P b 1qq
PERM T SERV ME,qrH
' NTAL
Quikrete of Northern California RVICS
6018 Stewart Avenue
' Fremont, California 94538
ATTN: Mr. Allen Law
' SUBJECT: GROUNDWATER GRAB SAMPLE ANALYSIS
820 South American Street
Stockton, California
' Gentlemen:
' Pursuant to our workplan dated December 23, 1992, EZC, Inc. has completed a
groundwater sampling and analysis investigation at the aforementioned subject site.
The purpose of this investigation was to assess the likelihood that groundwater
beneath the site has been adversely impacted by the former presence of hydrocarbons
contained within Underground Storage Tanks (USTs).
' A groundwater grab sample was collected at the time of this investigation and
analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbons in the form of gasoline, diesel, and their
constituents. The laboratory reported that the groundwater sample collected at the
' subject site has high concentrations of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons in the form of
gasoline (TPHg), Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons in the form of diesel (TPHd), and their
VOC constituents Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl benzene, and Xylenes (BTEX). Based on
' the laboratory report for the groundwater sample collected for analysis, field
observations and our professional judgement, the groundwater at the site has been
adversely impacted by TPHg, TPHd and BTEX which has been released from the
' former USTs.
Should you have any questions or require supplemental information, please do not
' hesitate to contact us.
' Sincerely r_ l
i
Robb Welch ndall W.
