Meays
SUBJECT: WORKPLAN ADDENDUM
820 South American Street
Stockton, California
Dear Ms. Meays:
Pursuant to your request EzC, Inc. is submitting this addendum to our workplan for
the above mentioned subject site. Our original workplan submitted to your office is
dated December 23, 1992. The following additional work has been proposed for the
subject site as detailed in our proposal dated February 9, 1993.
• Advance boring B-2 below 20 feet and collect samples at 25, 30, and 35 feet
below the ground surface (bgs), or to the first encounter of groundwater,
whichever is deeper. The soil samples collected above the groundwater level
will be held at our office for subsequent analysis. We will only analyze the
water sample and soil interface sample from B-2.
• Advance a soil boring at sample point B-3 and collect samples at 5-foot
intervals to the first encounter of groundwater. All soil samples except the
interface sample will be held for possible future analysis. The only laboratory
analysis will be performed on the water sample and soil interface sample
collected from B-3.
• The soil sample collected from boring B-2 will be analyzed for total petroleum
hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline, including the benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene,
and xylene (BTEX) constituents.
• The soil sample collected from boring B-3 will be analyzed for TPH as diesel,
including the BTEX constituents.
• The groundwater grab samples collected from B-2 and B-3 will be analyzed for
both TPHd and TPHg and BTEX constituents.
• All soil sample analyses will be performed on a normal 10-working day
turnaround cycle.
1220 Crossman Avenue.
