Job No. 4780200 • - Page 8 <br /> ' 4.0 FIELD QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL <br /> All soil sampling, sample handling, and sample storage will be conducted under <br /> the direction of E2C, Inc. and in accordance with EPA guidelines presented in <br /> ' EPA document SW-846. All laboratory analyses will be performed at a <br /> laboratory certified by the State of California Department of Health Services to <br /> perform the requested services. Upon request of the SJCPHS, duplicate <br /> samples or field split samples will be provided to evaluate the variability of <br /> analytical results. <br /> tAll equipment that contacts samples will be thoroughly cleaned prior to use on- <br /> site and between samplings. New or used samplers will be steam-cleaned or <br /> washed with an anionic detergent solution (i.e., Liquinox or Alconox), rinsed <br /> with tap water, rinsed with distilled water, drained of excess water and air- <br /> dried or wiped dry with a clean towel. <br /> EC, Inc.
