Job No 4780200 Paye 1 <br /> 1 .0 INTRODUCTION <br /> EzC, Inc. has completed a subsurface soil investigation of the property located <br /> r at 820 South American Street in the city of Stockton, California (hereinafter <br /> referred to as the subject site). This investigation was performed to assess the <br /> likelihood that the subject site has been adversely impacted by the former <br /> presence of petroleum hydrocarbons contained within three Underground <br /> Storage Tanks (USTs). <br /> 1.1 Site Location and Description <br /> The subject site is located at 820 South American Street in Stockton, California <br /> (See Figure 1) According to the United States Geological Survey Map, <br /> Stockton West Quadrangle, the site is at an approximate elevation of 15 feet <br /> above mean sea level and is located within Subdivision J, Section 11 of <br /> Township 1 north, Range 6 east of the Mount Diablo Base Meridian. <br /> The Assessor's partial number for the property is (APN 147-292-9,-10,-11). <br /> The property consists of three parcels of land which are occupied by three <br /> buildings that are not currently in use. (See Figure 2). <br /> 1.2 Site Background <br /> The buildings formerly were used as the business place of Seibold Construction. <br /> As part of these business activities, three USTs existed previously at the site <br /> and were used for the storage of gasoline and diesel fuels According to Ms. <br /> Mary Meyes of the SJCPHS, the USTs were removed in 1989 and 1990. <br /> Based on soil samples collected at the times of the USTs' removals, the <br /> SJCPHS requested that additional investigation be performed At the time of <br /> EzC's investigation, the subject site was vacant. <br /> ESC, Inc.
