A
complete analytical
report for the sampling conduc-'Ced by Canonie
Environmcntal was previou--ly subn
Itted to the San Joaquin County
PFI_C/RHr). Analytical results for the soil
samples taken from
beneath thL- regular gas dispenser indicated elc
lead, suggesting Ivatod levels
e
of
that the dispenser may have leaked. Because of
this apparent Ita% and the
loose
unleaded fitting found near- the 2000 gallon
tank, the
PHS/ETID directed Seibold Corporationto re -
excavate and Sample at a greater depth beneath
the regular gas
dispenser and in the area beneath the former
2000 gallon unleaded
gas tank location. Re -excavation was done by Seibold
on August 5 and 6, 1990. The samples were collected
on August 7, 1?9n by WESTON.
A total -of six Sall Samples were collected, five frim the 'unleaded
tank
gas re -excavation .pit. and a single sample t;:Qm beneath the
regular gas dispenser (Figure 3).
All the samples were analyzed
for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) benzene,
, toluene, xylene,
and ethylbenzene (BTX&E). The sample collected from beneath the
regular gas dispenser was
also analyzed
(EDB). All for ethylene dibroMid,
sampling Protocol
was approved by the on-site Count,
representative Ms. Darlene Reuss.
