A copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least <br /> Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters for the last three years, maintain them <br /> submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return ro CoinNl;ance <br /> a:..r. orm to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by November 20, 2015. <br /> This facility generates the following wastes: <br /> -Metal fines <br /> -Used/waste oil <br /> -Oil filters <br /> -Oily absorbent <br /> -Oily rags are sent out to a commercial laundry facility <br /> -Parts washer solution <br /> NOTES: the following minor violations were corrected onsite at the time of inspection: <br /> 1) One oil filter was noted on top of a drain pan located on top of 55-gallon container located in the hazardous waste <br /> storage area. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as <br /> drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start date. This above filter was containerized and <br /> labeled as appropriate, and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. This was corrected on site. <br /> II) a) One 55-gallon container of oily absorbent located in the main hazardous waste storage area (main floor area) <br /> was not closed as required. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or <br /> removing waste. This container was closed as appropriate at the time of inspection. b) One open drain pan <br /> containing oily liquid and metal shavings was located adjacent to the metal cutting equipment located in the repair <br /> shop. This oily liquid was transfered to an appropriate container (lockable). This was corrected on site. c) Metal <br /> fines were noted on the table below the metal cutting equipment located in the repair shop. Mr. Rick Goddard <br /> indicated that these metal fines will be handled as hazardous waste. Metal fines were containerized at the time of <br /> inspection. This was corrected on site. <br /> III) a) One 55-gallon container of oily absorbent located in the main hazardous waste storage area (main floor area) <br /> was lacking hazardous properties and was labeled with all the required information at the time of inspection. <br /> Four 55- gallon containers of used oil were located in the chemical storage area, one of the containers was labeled <br /> th Nvords "used oil".
