Pescadero Ave., Tracy Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> ROUTINE HAZARDOUS WASTE GENERATOR INSPECTION <br /> *"Inspection was conducted on September 20, 2010. Report was completed on September 21, 2010. <br /> Checklist was left on site at time of inspection. <br /> Minor Violations: (8, 20, 27, 50, 60, 61, 62, 64, 84, 85) <br /> 8. This facility's EPA ID number has been inactive since June 30, 2008. A hazardous waste generator <br /> shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID <br /> number. Immediately contact DTSC and reactivate your EPA ID number or obtain a new EPA ID <br /> number and submit evidence to the EHD by October 21, 2010. A form has been provided. <br /> 20. Three 5 gallon buckets and two 55 gallon poly drums containing oily liquid were observed without <br /> labels. A blue tub containing spent absorbent and ammonia waste was observed without a label. Two <br /> 55 gallon metal drums of used oil were observed with no accumulation start date. A 30 gallon drum of <br /> used oil was observed with no hazardous properties, physical state, or generator name & address, with <br /> an accumulation start date of 11/6/06. A 55 gallon drum of diesel sludge was observed with no <br /> hazardous properties, physical state, generator address, or accumulation start date. All hazardous <br /> waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties (toxic, reactive, corrosive, flammable) <br /> 4. physical state (solid, liquid, gas) <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since the used oil has been on site longer than 180 days and it cannot be determined how <br /> long the other containers have been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to <br /> dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by October 21, 2010. <br /> 27. Three 5 gallon buckets and two 55 gallon poly drums containing oily liquid, and a blue tub containing <br /> spent absorbent and ammonia waste were observed open in the waste storage area. All hazardous <br /> waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close <br /> these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing <br /> waste. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE($122). <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD Ins r: Received By: Title: <br /> EHD 2302- Rev 08110/10 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
