9) Neck Positions: <br />a.) Flexion (forward bend, or chin to chest / 0 —80 degrees) <br />Frequency: Continuously <br />Work Performed: <br />Looking downward occurs routinely to view lower surfaces, <br />including the floor, fixtures, surfaces, operational controls on <br />units driven or operated, replenishing or accessing supplies, <br />etc. Degree of flexion varies according to the height of <br />individual 0 to 60 degrees, and occurs intermittently. <br />b.) Extension (looking up at ceiling / 0 —70 degrees) <br />Frequency: Infrequently to Occasionally <br />Work Performed: <br />Looking upward occurs to scan above -head slot area to <br />identify and access damaged product, to clean upper surfaces <br />and ceiling areas, and access supplies. Degree of extension <br />varies from 0 — 70 degrees. <br />c.) Right/Left Rotation (look over right/left shoulder / 0 —45 degrees) <br />Frequency: Up to Frequently <br />Work Performed: <br />Full range 0 to 45 degrees is required to drive or operate <br />moving equipment, to scan warehouse floor areas and aisles, <br />and to watch for traffic while operating equipment. <br />d.) Right/Left Lateral Flexion (ear to shoulder / 0 —50 degrees) <br />Rarely to Infrequently <br />Work Performed: <br />I%j Right or Left lateral flexion occurs to look behind obstacles, <br />I fixtures, and to access areas in rear of a pick slot to clean, or <br />move damaged product. <br />Janitor -Cleaner (psychological factors) 6 <br />
