May irritate skin. When ingested, may cause nausea <br />and vomiting. Inhalation of vapor will irritate nose, throat and lungs. <br />Effects of acute exposure: Inhalation of mist or vapor may cause breathing difficulty. Its corrosiveness may cause severe <br />irritation to eyes and skin. May cause permanent damage if not treated properly. Ingestion can cause corrosion of mucous <br />membranes, severe esophageal burns and perforation of esophagus or stomach. <br />Effects of chronic exposure: Not Known. <br />Under normal consumer use conditions, the likelihood of any adverse health effects is low. The following medical <br />conditions may be aggravated by exposure to high concentration of vapor or mist: heart conditions or chronic respiratory <br />problems such as asthma, bronchitis or obstructive lung disease. Some clinical tests conducted on intact skin with sodium <br />hypochlorite liquid bleach found no sensitization in the test subjects. <br />Section 4. First Aid Measures <br />Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with copious amount of water. If irritation persists, call a <br />doctor. <br />Eyes: Flush eyes with cool running water holding eyelids apart to ensure thorough rinsing for 15 minutes. <br />Remove contact lenses. See a doctor immediately. <br />Inhalation: Move to fresh air and restore breathing,. If breathing problems develop, call a doctor. <br />Ingestion: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING! Drink large amounts of water. Do not give anything by mouth <br />to a convulsing or unconscious person. See a doctor immediately. <br />General Advice: If irritation occurs, see a doctor immediately. <br />
