No hazardous waste was observed on site. <br /> According to Mr. McDonough, the facility only housed pet food (dry and canned), pet beds, cat litter, and dog <br /> kennels. He stated that all other items are handled at the main facilities in Mira Loma, CA, New Jersey, Georgia, <br /> Illinois, and Nevada. He later stated that the facility did receive returns from stores, and that all totes were opener <br /> and checked, with damaged items being handled for disposal. Uniform hazardous waste manifests were <br /> observed on site for the following wastes: petroleum distillate (aerosols), phosphoric acid / hydrochloric acid, <br /> surfactant/ oil, electronic waste, methyl ethyl ketone (aerosols), lead acid batteries, paint related material, broken <br /> fluorescent tubes, alkaline batteries, permithrin / piperonyl butoxide, sodium hydroxide / potassium hydroxide. <br /> A final disposal record dated November 20, 2015, was observed on site for MEK / Isopropyl alcohol, fluorescent <br /> tubes, and non-RCRA solid (waste code 331). <br /> This facility will be inactivated as a hazardous waste generator with EHD. <br /> Received by Inspector: ri <br /> hone: Date: <br /> (initial): C STACY RIVERA.
