Page 2 Waste Oil (cont.) --All of the Waste Oil that was on site during the visit was picked up on January 28, 2014, by George W. Lowry, Inc., who is our waste oil handler. We have been provided with a "manifest" for the pick-up and copies will be sent to the appropriate agencies.As a non-RCRA Hazardous Waste Liquid,we are working with Lowry to insure that we are properly labeling our collection drums. Outside Drum Storaee Area The (2) drums that were labeled as EMPTY, but were not, have been properly labeled as Flammable Liquid and will be disposed of properly. All other drums stored in the area have been verified as being EMPTY and have been labeled as such. Metal Prep Blast Area Previously, portions of this area were not being cleaned as well as they should have been, with accumulations of blasting media apparent on the floor. A program has been instituted that includes daily clean-up of the entire work area and proper handling of the excess material.This program went into effect last week. Hazardous Waste Trainin¢ --In order to focus more attention on our Hazardous Waste programs in general, we have designated one of our employees as our Coordinator, Hazardous Waste. In this capacity, the Coordinator will have responsibility and authority for enforcement for all of our current and future Hazardous Waste handling programs. --We are planning on sending our Coordinator for training through our local CUPA office for both Universal Waste Management and Hazardous Waste Management, as a "train the trainer" program. Once completed, we will set up on-site training programs for all of our employees on a yearly basis. I trust the above information is sufficient for the present time.
