SECTION V: Hazardous Waste/Emergency Training <br /> All Holz employees handling, creating, or having anything to do <br /> with management of hazardous waste will be trained upon <br /> employment within 6 months and annually thereafter by the <br /> Safety/Environmental Coordinator. The Safety/Environmental <br /> Coordinator, Ann Larson, and/or Safety/Environmental Manager, <br /> Ted Cooper, will have annual training from an outside qualified <br /> agency on hazardous waste management procedures. <br /> Training will include emergency procedures for spills, <br /> ground/water contamination, fires, use and care of fire <br /> extinguishers, notification of the proper authorities, and proper <br /> disposal of universal waste. All employees involved will also be <br /> instructed on how to lessen or eliminate the generation of waste. <br /> DOT Hazmat Training will be obtained, at least every three years, <br /> for all employees involved in shipping/receiving hazardous <br /> material, specifically, all employees of the Shipping/Receiving <br /> Department and the Environmental/ Safety Coordinator. <br />
