There were no indications that the sandblast waste was ever analyzed for <br /> hazardous properties. Either handle this waste stream as hazardous or submit <br /> analytical results for this waste stream that supports the handling of the waste as <br /> non-hazardous. Start this practice or submit a copy of these analytical results by <br /> 5/21/03. <br /> 12. Throughout the facility, there were areas where staining was evident and oily <br /> waste was observed on the floor. Take the proper precautions in the working <br /> environment so that further staining are eliminated or minimized. Implement <br /> immediately. <br /> 19. Containers with hazardous waste are permitted to be onsite for no longer than 90 <br /> days. Without any labels on these containers, it is unknown as to how long they <br /> have been onsite. Remove the following drums under a manifest. <br /> a. 3 drums in Hazardous Waste Accumulation area <br /> b. 6 drums in the Mellow Room Primary(southeast comer) <br /> 20. Containers with hazardous waste must have a label with the following <br /> information: <br /> a. "Hazardous Waste" <br /> b. Name and Address <br /> c. Content <br /> d. Accumulation Start Date <br /> e. Physical State <br /> f. Hazardous property <br /> Correct immediately for the following containers: <br /> a. 3 drums in Hazardous Waste Accumulation area <br /> b. 6 drums in the Mellow Room Primary(southeast corner) <br /> 43. The Hazardous Waste contingency plan could not be located at the time of the <br /> inspection. Submit a copy of the Hazardous Waste contingency plan (not <br /> HMMP) to this office by 5/21/03. <br /> 49. Certain criteria must be met for the training records to be complete. A section of <br /> CCR will be forwarded to Holz so that the additional information can be put in <br /> the training records. Start implementing new training record requirements in <br /> documentation immediately. <br />
