All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br /> The rags and soil were cleaned up and placed in the hazardous waste absorbent drum at the time of inspection. <br /> Ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed, or in properly closed containers,when not adding or removing <br /> waste. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 501 CCR 66265.192(a) Failed to comply with new hazardous waste tank system assessment requirements. <br /> Facility does not have a current tank assessment for the 250 gallon used oil tank. The tank assessment on site was <br /> dated March 2010. The owner or operator of a hazardous waste tank shall obtain a written assessment reviewed and <br /> certified by an independent, qualified, professional engineer, registered in California attesting that the system has <br /> sufficient structural integrity, is acceptable for the transferring, storing, and treating of hazardous waste, and that the <br /> tanks and containment system are suitably designed. Immediately have an assessment prepared for the 250 gallon <br /> used oil tank. Submit a schedule showing when this will be accomplished to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class I violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(a)Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> A 55 gallon white plastic drum of used antifreeze was observed with an accumulation start date of January 13, 2015. <br /> Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month may store waste on site up to 90 days. <br /> Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of <br /> the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> A 55 gallon blue steel drum of waste absorbent was observed in the outside storage area with no hazardous property <br /> marked. Oily rags and oily dirt were observed accumulated on the concrete next to the truck wash area around the <br /> bottom of a diesel dispenser.
