Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler <br /> to dispose of these wastes under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest(s)to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> A 10 gallon black steel bucket of used fuel filters was observed in the storage room next to the car wash with no <br /> labeling. Used oil and fuel filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled <br /> as"drained used oil and gasoline filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately label this <br /> container and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> A 10 gallon black steel bucket of used fuel filters was observed in the storage room next to the car wash with no <br /> accumulation start date marked. No disposal records for filters were found on site. Facilities that generate up to one <br /> ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. Facilities that generate one ton or more of used oil <br /> filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a <br /> copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
