Hazardous waste generators shall retain <br /> copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting <br /> procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all <br /> consolidated manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, submit proof of correction to the <br /> EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> One broken and several unbroken universal waste lamps were observed on the ground, outside the paint booth. <br /> Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous <br /> waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately containerize <br /> all broken lamps, and manage all broken and waste lamps according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br /> Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> No spill control equipment was observed onsite at the time of inspection. All facility communications or alarm <br /> systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall <br /> be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of emergency. Immediately begin this <br /> practice. Submit proof of correction to the EHD. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection was conducted in response to a complaint COCDPMYWI. This facility is a hazardous waste <br /> generator, and as such a routine hazardous waste inspection was conducted. An inspection checklist was <br /> provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The EHD has written the complete report which <br /> replaces the initial checklist. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, within 30 days of receiving the complete inspection report. <br /> This facility generates the following wastes: <br /> 1) Waste paint booth filters <br /> 2) Painting equipment rinsate <br /> 3) Waste absorbent and paint. <br /> The following was provided with the final report: <br /> 1) Modified Contingency Plan <br /> FA0023695 PR0541350 SCO01 10/06/2016 <br /> EHD 22-01 Rev.09/22116 Page 5 of 6 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OR <br />
