Main St
Stockton, CA 95202-3029
Subject: Certification of Return to Compliance
Dear Ms. Rivera,
This letter is to certify that we have taken the necessary measures to return to compliance as
outlined in our"notice to comply". This notice was issued following a 6/15/2011 inspection at
our 4545 Qantas Lane facility. The findings and corrective actions are as follows:
#7 Failed to determine if waste is a hazardous waste.
• An aerosol can containing a small amount of product was observed in the trash can in the
shop area. A Waste Stream Information Profile had recently been set-up with Veolia ES
Technical Solutions. We are collecting all aerosol cans in a drum for disposal within our
90-day time frame. (See attachment)
#20 Failed to properly label a container of hazardous waste.
A 55 gallon blue steel drum of waste oil was observed inside an oil containment area with
an incorrect accumulation start date on the hazardous waste label. The accumulation start
date has been corrected to read June 7, 2011,the date of our last waste oil pick up. (see
attachment)
484 Unable to demonstrate the length of time the UW has been accumulated from the date
it became a waste or was received.
A 5-gallon pail of batteries (universal waste) was not taken from the shop to the waste
pickup staging area when we had a scheduled waste pickup the week prior to the
inspection. The batteries have since been disposed of and documentation is attached.
