Main St <br /> Stockton, CA 95202-3029 <br /> Subject: Certification of Return to Compliance <br /> Dear Mr. von Flue, <br /> This letter is to certify that we have taken the necessary measures to return to compliance <br /> as outlined in our"notice to comply". This notice was issue following a 1013107 <br /> inspection at our 4545 Qantas Lane facility. The violations and corrective actions are as <br /> follows: <br /> #10 Failed to determine if waste is a hazardous waste. <br /> • The 55-gallon white poly drum in the ink yard has been determined to be waste <br /> oil. It has been properly labeled with a proper label (please refer to photo) and <br /> will be pumped out with our next scheduled 1118107 waste oil pick-up by Ramos <br /> Environmental. The 5-gal pail of spent non-PCB ballasts was picked up by <br /> Veolia Environmental Services on 10116107. A copy of the shipping document is <br /> enclosed. <br /> #12 Facility not maintaining to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> The floor under the wash up tank in OPMR has been cleaned (please see photo).. <br /> Dopaco has implemented a housekeeping procedure the outlines the prompt <br /> cleanup of spills around the wash-up tank. <br /> #20 Failed to properly label containers of hazardous waste. <br /> All of the hazardous waste labels on the drums of hazardous waste are identified <br /> on the label as to the hazardous property. Our current waste hauler has provided <br /> us with new labels with this information pre-printed that we will be using <br /> exclusively. The yellow bin in OPMR has been properly labeled with the <br /> appropriate hazardous waste label with the instruction to "Empty Daily" (please <br /> see photo). A 5-gallon pail of waste oil in the Finishing Department Parts Room <br /> has been properly labeled with a hazardous waste label and the instruction to <br />
