This notice was issued following a 9/12/05 inspection at <br /> our Qantas Lane facility. The violations and corrective actions are as follows: <br /> #12 Absorbent pads were observed around machine #3. <br /> • Corrected 9/12/05. <br /> • The absorbents pads were removed from Press #3. <br /> • Dopaco has implemented a procedure that outlines the proper use of absorbents <br /> and prompt cleanup of spills, drips, and leaks and related cleanup materials. Work <br /> orders are to be submitted for repair of any equipment that is leaking a fluid. <br /> 920 Failed to properly label containers of hazardous waste. One 5-gal bucket of oil in <br /> OPMR. <br /> • Unable to locate, no longer in area. <br /> #20 Failed to properly label containers of hazardous waste; one container holding <br /> sludge, ink-soap waste in ink mixing room <br /> • Corrected 9/16/05 <br /> + The container with soapy water residue was labeled with the appropriate HMIS label <br /> 420 Failed to properly label containers of hazardous waste. Outside in the waste storage <br /> area- one 55 gal white drum <br /> • This drum was properly labeled and shipped as hazardous waste on 10/4/05. A copy <br /> of the manifest is enclosed. <br /> 020 Failed to properly label containers of hazardous waste. Outside in the waste storage <br /> area- one tote of virgin ink waste <br />
