The Uniform Manifest contains six copies.All copies must be legible.The generator must always send a <br /> copy to the Department of Toxic Substances Control(DTSC)if the waste is generated in California, <br /> generated out of state but received by a permitted facility in California,or is imported to or exported from <br /> California.The manifest is no longer color coded. <br /> The uniform manifest no longer has a dedicated copy specified for generators to submit to DTSC;therefore, <br /> generators must make a legible copy of the manifest(photocopy)to submit to DTSC. <br /> GenjtMtor sends mani&lt copy to DTSC within 30 days of the shi m nt date: <br /> DTSC Generator Manifests <br /> P.O. Box 3000 <br /> Sacramento,CA 95812 <br /> 21 Manifest Exception Reports: <br /> If a Generator has not received a signed copy of the manifest from the TSDF after 35'days from the date <br /> the waste was shipped,the Generator is required to contact the Transporter and TSDF to determine the <br /> status of the waste shipment. <br /> If after contact the TSDF and Transporter,the Generator has not received a signed copy of the <br /> manifest,the Generator is required to file an Exception Report with DTSC.
