Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest <br /> and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored <br /> on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Containers of hazardous waste with no date labeled: <br /> -A blue/orange 55 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop did not have a start date <br /> -A blue 35 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop did not have a start date <br /> -A blue 55 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop did not have a start date <br /> -A red oil bin inside the shop did not have a start date. The Owner, Quyen Tran said it is not emptied daily, only when <br /> its full. <br /> Since it cannot be determined how long the hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest. Submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD within 30 <br /> days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> Containers of hazardous waste not properly labeled: <br /> -A blue/orange 55 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop was not labeled <br /> -A blue 35 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop did was not labeled <br /> -A blue 55 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop did was not labeled <br /> -Awhite 55 gallon drum of used oil behind the shop did not have the correct name and address of the generator <br /> -A red oil bin inside the shop was not labeled. The Owner, Quyen Tran said it is not emptied daily, only when its full. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
