A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, <br /> transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go to the DTSC web site <br /> http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/IDManifest/PERMHWID.cfm for the form to reactivate the ID number. Immediately reactivate <br /> your hazardous waste ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> A 55 gallon black steel drum of fuel contaminated liquid was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with an <br /> unsealed lid and an open bunghole. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding <br /> or removing waste. Immediately close this container and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not <br /> adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored <br /> on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. A 30 gallon black steel drum of fuel contaminated solids <br /> was observed in the hazardous waste storage area with no accumulation start date. The disposal records on site <br /> indicate the solids have not been hauled off site since October 12, 2016. Since it cannot be determined how long the <br /> hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste <br /> under manifest.
