This information was required to be submitted by July 25, 2015. This <br /> information has not been received resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an <br /> inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting corrective <br /> actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written response documenting <br /> corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> A 5 gallon white plastic bucket of waste absorbent was observed in the back storage room under the sink with no lid. <br /> According to Mr. Singh, new absorbent is used to clean spills and is then placed in this bucket. All hazardous waste <br /> containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers <br /> and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored <br /> on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. A 5 gallon white plastic bucket of waste absorbent was <br /> observed in the back storage room under the sink with no label. No disposal records were on site or on record with <br /> DTSC. Since it cannot be determined how long the hazardous waste has been on site, immediately contact a <br /> licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest. Submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD <br /> within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class JI violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> A5 gallon white plastic bucket of waste absorbent was observed in the back storage room under the sink with no <br /> label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste' <br /> - name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive, toxic) <br /> -physical state(liquid, solid) <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label this container and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
