(209)468-3420 Fax: (209)468-3433 Web:www.sjgov.org/ehd <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> WILSON WAY TIRE CO INC 221 N WILSON WAY STOCKTON ril 08 2016 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> A black 5 gallon container of metal brake shavings in the middle of the shop was labeled as" Small Battery Waste <br /> Barrel".All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br /> this container have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to <br /> dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> A blue 55 gallon drum of of drained used oil filters in the middle of the shop were not labeled . Used oil filters shall be <br /> drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters," and marked with <br /> an accumulation start date. Immediately label the drum and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 704 CCR 66273.33(b) Failed to properly manage universal waste lamps. <br /> A broken universal waste lamp was found in the trash in the backyard of the shop. Universal waste lamps shall be <br /> stored in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment. All broken universal waste lamps and <br /> releases shall be immediately cleaned and containerized. Immediately store all universal waste lamps in a manner <br /> that prevents breakage and release to the environment and remove the broken lamp from the trash . <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 713 CCR 66273.35 Stored UW onsite greater than one year or was unable to demonstrate the time UW has been stored. <br /> A red 35 gallon container of universal waste aerosol cans in the middle of the shop had a start date of 1-15-2013 . <br /> Universal waste may be accumulated for no longer than one year from the date the universal waste was generated. <br /> The universal waste handler shall be able to demonstrate the length of time that the universal waste has been <br /> accumulated. Since it could not be demonstrated how long this waste was stored on site, immediately dispose of this <br /> waste and submit a copy of the disposal receipt to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by May 8, 2016 . <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
