One blue 55-gallon poly container, covered loosely by a rusted metal lid, was observed north of the detail shop. This container was 3/4 full and contained standing oily liquid and rags. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close this container and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. This is a Class II violation. 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. One blue poly container, covered loosely by a rusted metal lid,was observed north of the detail shop. This container had no label and was 3/4 full with standing oily liquid and rags. Also one 55-gallon container was located inside the detail shop and was labeled as "drained used oil and gasoline filters" and dated 1-8-13; some oily liquid 1-2 cups was noted inside this container. Facilities who generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store waste on site up to 180 days. Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. This is a Class II violation. Page 3 of 4
