If you or your I <br /> business generates more than 100 kg of RCRA hazardous waste and/or more than one kg of acutely hazardous <br /> waste,then you need to obtain an EPA ID number. Immediately obtain <br /> an ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> i' <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 102 CCR 66262.11,66262.40(c)Failed to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste or retain waste analysis on site for 3 <br /> years. <br /> Spilled powdered pool chemicals were observed inside the storage building located in the back of the parcel,adjacent <br /> to the northern property boundary. Mr.Walker said that the spilled material is"soda ash and baking soda".Also a <br /> white powdery substance was noted on the outside of the outdoor garbage container(dosed top roll off dumpster) <br /> located adjacent to the eastern property boundary;one sample of the white substance located on the garbage <br /> container was collected by the EHD at the time of inspection. Any person who generates a waste shall determine if <br /> the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately remove all the spilled materials, make a hazardous waste determination <br /> for the waste,and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting <br /> documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Page 3 of 7 <br />
