JERRY JOY •
3028 Canal Drive
Stockton, California 95204
(209) 462-1481
CL#439983
March 11, 1991
19 I;;, 11 1991
San Joaquin County HEALTH
Public Health Services EN\P MMEN VICES
P. 0. Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Attn: Donna Heran, REHS Program Manager
Re: 1040 North Union Street, Stockton
Dear Donna:
Attached is the soil sample results as completed by Water Works - from the
borings and sampling on 3/4/91.
On reviewing these analysis reports with Joe Knight he advised that the
samples are clean - for Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl-Benzene - TPHg.
Total Xylenes reflected 0.007 & 0.010 which we understand are within the
current acceptable tolerances.
Total lead (mg/kg) reflected 5.9 on the north tank.
Due to leach ability of lead and the known ground water depth being in excess
of 100 feet - those levels do not pose any problem or threat to the environment.
Therefore request a clean bill - release on this property.
Sincerely,
Jerj Joy
JJ/cj
Enclosure
