Any solids sludges, liquids, etc. left in tank are to be removed <br />and handled/disposed of as hazardous waste. A hazardous waste <br />manifest listing those products must be submitted to the SJLHD <br />within 30 days of tank removal. <br />(NOTE: if products can be reused or recycled they are not <br />considered hazardous waste an no manifest is needed.) <br />2. If tanks are to be used as scrap metal or reused, a <br />receipt form the scrap yard, or others, must be submitted within <br />30 days of tank removal to the SJLHD. <br />3. A sample must be taken from below each tank, (2 or more <br />for tanks greater than 10,000 gal. or long piping runs) and the <br />samples for the following tank(s) must be analyzed for: <br />Dees c;- <br />BTX (EPA 8020) <br />B. TPHC (EPA 8015 MOD.) <br />2.°on0� fid{) C. CHLORINATED SOLVENTS <br />/ (EPA 8010) <br />3. D. PCB <br />4. E. EDB (EPA 8010) <br />5. F. TETREATHYLEAD (if total <br />lead reported will assume to <br />be tel unless background <br />sample analyzed) <br />4. Call for inspection 48 hrs. prior to removal, calls after 12:00 <br />cannot be scheduled for the following day. <br />5. REMARKS: <br />
