Carpenter Rd, Stockton, CA. <br />2.1 Background <br />The subject property is currently used for the office and yard for Roto -Rooter, <br />Plumbing and Sewer Cleaning Contractor. The property is currently owned by <br />SANACT, INC. The location of the site is at 3480 E. Carpenter Rd The site is <br />bound to the north by Carpenter Rd, to west Frontage Rd and Hyway 99. <br />It is our understanding the tanks were installed sometime during 1986 and was last used <br />in November 1998. The steel, single -walled tank has the capacity of 10,000 gallons and <br />was last used to store unleaded gas used for equipment. The othe steel, single -walled <br />tank has the capactity of 1000 gallons and was last used to store diesel for equipment. <br />3.0 WORK DESCRIPTION <br />Tasks to be performed at the site include underground tank removal and soil sampling activities. <br />Work activities are planned in the following order (some activities may be performed <br />concurrently): <br />Disconnect pumps, electrical, etc. <br />Break concrete, remove overburden to expose top of tanks <br />Excavate soil to remove tanks <br />Inert tanks <br />
