Tank Decontamination <br /> Telic Engineering Corporation will remove all residue in tank <br /> by high pressure wash and steam. The tank will be steamed at <br /> 2000 - 300° for approximately 45 minutes and then high pressure <br /> washed. All residue will be removed from tank by means of a <br /> vacuum truck and transported to a state certified TSDF on a <br /> hazardous waste manifest. The above tank decontamination will <br /> be performed by Telic Engineering Corporation and rinsate will <br /> be transported by a licensed hazardous waste hauler. Once <br /> tank is empty of all residue, the tank will be purged by means <br /> of inserting 20 pounds of dry ice per 1, 000 gallons capacity <br /> of tank. Piping will be disconnected at dispenser and <br /> decontaminated by means of pressure wash and steam. <br /> Transportation and final destination of rinsate to be supplied <br /> by H&H Environmental located at 220 China Basin, San <br /> Francisco, California. <br /> 2 . Tank Disposal <br /> Tanks and piping will be hauled to Western Tank for Disposal. <br /> 3 . Soil Sample Procedure <br /> Soil samples will be taken two (2 ) to four (4) feet below the <br /> tank. in native soil. <br /> 4. Tank I.D. <br /> Tank identification will be painted on tanks before leaving <br /> site. <br /> 5 . Fire Permit <br /> Fire permit will be on site at time of tank removal. <br /> 6 . Contaminated Soil <br /> If contamination is found on site, contaminated soil will be <br /> placed on plastic and covered. <br />
