The referenced plan is <br /> dated June 18, 1986 and was prepared by J.H. Kleinfelder and <br /> Associates. The Department and the CVRWQCB find the Closure Plan <br /> to be inadequate for the reasons listed below. The following <br /> joint comments are referenced to the appropriate section of the <br /> Closure Plan: <br /> I-A-9 <br /> o What was the final date waste was accepted into this tank? <br /> o What Date was all waste removed from the tank? <br /> o What is the status of manufacturing operations at this <br /> facility? <br /> o If manufacturing operations continue will hazardous waste be <br /> generated? <br /> o If hazardous waste is generated, how will it be handled? <br /> o What steps will be taken to prevent the generation of <br /> hazardous waste? <br /> o If the manufacturing of some products is discontinued, what <br /> quantities and types of excess raw materials will be <br /> created? <br /> o What will be the disposition of these unwanted raw <br /> materials? <br />
