G
Appurtenances and Accessories
Flanged and Gusseted Fiberglass
Nozzles (optional)
Flanged and conically gusseted FRP nozzles are available
in 2" 4; 6" and 0" diameters. The flange face matches the
ANSI 150# face pattern. Mating flanges must be flat
4.-1
® Fiberglass Fill Tube (optional)
Fill tubes are screwed into the bottom of a 6"x4!'NPT
double tapped reducer bushing which is located in a
service fitting. The bottom of the fill tube is located four
inches above the bottom of the tank with the open end
slanted 45° The top of the 4" NPT service fitting is closed
with a 4"' cast iron plug to facilitate shipment and
toctinn
FLI Fiberglass Bottom Sumps (optional)
Bottom sumps provide a basin to trap contaminant
liquids or solids from the primary tank that are heavier
than the product stored in the tank. The sump must be
located beneath a service fitting to facilitate pumpout.
W TRU_-CHEW" Hydrostatic
Monitoring System (optional)
The brine filled interstice provides a positive pressure
hydrostatic monitoring system to detect a leak. The
pressure allows for accurate leak detection in the
primary and secondary walls of the tank. Besides its
continuous monitoring capability, TRU-CHEK" provides
the opportunity to perform an EPA approved tank
tightness test. See Xerxes Lit. Mo. 192. The FRP
reservoir, which incorporates a 4" NPT monitor fitting,
is factory installed and remains a permanent part of
the tank. The FRP reservoir is provided at no charge
with the purchase of TRU-CHEK'". If a standpipe is
attached to the reservoir, the standpipe is not part of
and is not employed in continuous monitoring of the
tank, does not constitute part of the monitoring
system and is not provided by Xerxes.
25,000 and 30,000 gallon tanks cannot be shipped
with brine filled interstice.
FNIAttached Manway Risers (optional)
System I and System it
The FRP attached manway riser (attached in the field)
can provide a sealed catch basin to exclude
groundwater from the service fittings and to catch
product leaking into the primary piping system. Specify
attachment to either 22" or 30" I.D. tank manway. All
risers allow removal of the tank manway cover.
System I has a 22" I.D. friction fit cover at the top of the
riser (32" I.D. friction fit cover supplied upon request).
System It has a 22" I.D. water tight bolt -on cover at the
top of riser. Both systems include the necessary
hardware, including the stud ring assembly and 2 extra
gaskets.
NOTE: Carefully select the size of the grade level street
box—not supplied by Xerxes—to ensure an adequate
interface.
Y cOMDreaslbie Foam
L_ I I L 22" Dia.
22" Dia. istandard)
32" Dia. i0ptionl 39r
-42" Dia. 42" Die.
System I system 11
