OP <br /> Modesto, CA 95350 <br /> RE: 2081 Country Club Blvd. , Stkn. <br /> This office has received several requests regarding the underground <br /> storage tank compliance status of the above referenced facility. <br /> Extensive review of the San Joaquin Local Health District file and <br /> recent information submitted, reveals that the facility is currently <br /> in compliance with the monitoring and tank testing requirements of the <br /> California Health and Safety Code, Section 25292 and 252193 and the <br /> California Code of Requlations [ 23-2641 (c) ( 5) ] , except for the <br /> following: <br /> 1. The quarterly reports submitted by the operator have shown <br /> inventory reconciliation variations in excess of the allowable <br /> variations [CCR 23-2641 (c) ( 5 ) ) : This is reportedly due to <br /> "tank tilt" . If this problem persists, the facility may be <br /> required to install some type of device such as an elec- <br /> tronic liquid level monitor to provide enhanced measurement <br /> accuracy in order to correct this problem. <br /> 2 . The initial precision tests on the 10 , 000 gallon regular <br /> fuel tank failed on April 22 , 1986 and on May 5 , 1986 . <br /> CCR 23-2650 and 23-2652 require that an Unauthorized Release <br /> (UAR) report be filed if a precision test fails and greater <br /> than one ( 1 ) gallon of material is lost during a tank test. <br /> Review of the precision test results for the dates listed above <br /> and repeated contacts with the former owner, the tank tester <br /> and yourself have failed to clarify whether or not a UAR <br /> occurred.
