IT T S Integrity Tank Testing Systems, Inc.
May 16 , 1988
Mr. Bill Peters
Peters ' Market
P. O. Box 338
French Camp, California 95231
Re: Kwikee Foods, 2081 Country Club Boulevard
Dear Mr. Peters:
Enclosed are copies of the 1986 tests of your regular
gasoline tank. The following is a summary of the activity:
April 22, 1986 was the initial test and it was discontinued
after 1 1/4 hours as we were reflecting a loss of 1.31 gallons per
hour. Based upon the visable tank layout (ie, the vent line
appears to come from the same end as the fill) , we suspected a
collapsing vapor pocket and recommended uncovering to determine if
the vapor pocket was reflecting a leak, or if a leak, in truth,
did exist.
May 7 , 1986 , we retested with the tank top exposed. We found
a 4" bushing and a union on the vent line to be leaking and we
were unable to effect repairs and discontinued the test after 1
3/4 hours . Our recorded loss of product was 0 .1865 gallons, or
less than two-tenths of a gallon.
May 8, 1986, we retested after the repairs to the 4" bushing
and the vent line union. This test was also done with the tank
top exposed. The average for two hours of testing was a recorded
loss of 0,027 gallons, which is within parameters to consider the
tank tight.
Sincerely,
W. N.
