PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES <br />SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY m <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION <br />Karen Furst, M.D., M.P.H., Health Officer • e�.. <br />304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor • Stockton, CA 95202 <br />209/468-3420 <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br />SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for remediation of a leaking <br />underground storage tank site located at 2081 Country Club Blvd., in the County of San <br />Joaquin (APN 123-152-25) on the northeast corner of Country Club Blvd and Franklin <br />Ave., has been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental <br />Health Division (PHS-EHD). The plan is a proposal for mitigation (soil over -excavation) of <br />hazardous substances which may have contaminated the site due to a possible <br />unauthorized release associated with the underground storage tanks (UST) which are <br />located on the property. <br />San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division, Local UST <br />Oversight Program, has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance <br />with local, State and Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not <br />create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained <br />from cleanup of the contamination. <br />The corrective action plan is available for public review at PHS-EHD, 304 E. Weber <br />Street, Third Floor, Stockton, California, during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 <br />p.m.(closed 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.) If a written request by any member of the public <br />for a public hearing is not received by PHS-EHD by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January <br />28, 1998, the tentative decision shall become final on that date and time. <br />All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to PHS-EHD at 304 E. Weber <br />Ave., Third Floor, Stockton, 95202.
