STOCKTON GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB <br /> GOLF CART STORAGE BUILDING <br /> Description of Facility Prior to Cleanup: <br /> This facility included a two stroke engine fuel tank (gasoline and <br /> oil mixture) underground. <br /> Cleanup Work Completed: <br /> The tank was filled with carbon dioxide, uncovered and removed. <br /> Additional soil was removed from under the tank (approximately 2 <br /> ft. deeper than the tank) . All soil was retained in a pile adjacent <br /> to the excavation pending results of analyses of soil samples. Two <br /> samples were taken by California Water Labs from the base of the <br /> excavation as shown on Dwg. No. Sk-002 attached. These analysed as <br /> follows: <br /> Sample No. 5 5 <br /> EDB ND ND <br /> Lead ND ND <br /> Benzene ND . 067 <br /> Toluene ND . 019 <br /> Ethyl Benzene ND . 0055 <br /> Xylenes (Total) ND . 070 <br /> Diesel ND ND <br /> Gasoline ND 1. 30 <br /> Kerosene ND ND <br /> Oil (as motor oil) ND ND <br /> Status OK OK <br /> * all results are reported in mg/Kg <br /> The contaminated soil pile was sampled by Environeering Inc. <br /> (composite of several locations and depths) . This analysed as <br /> follows: <br /> Sample No. Diesel Other Hydrocarbons Status <br /> 3G & 4G 2 mg/Kg 160. 0 mg/Kg Contaminated <br /> The contaminated soil removed from the affected area is estimated <br /> to be 8 cubic yards. <br /> Copies of the analytical results from California Water Labs and <br /> Clayton Environmental Consultants are attached. <br />
