ACAMPO ROAD; ACAMPO <br />SERVING <br />Son Joaquin County <br />City of Manteca <br />City of Escalon <br />City of Lodi <br />City of Tracy <br />City of Flipon <br />San Joaquin County <br />City of Stockton <br />San Joaquin County <br />On July 29, 1988 the San Joaquin Local Health District received <br />an Underground Storage Tank Closure/Sampling Plan for a 600 <br />gallon regular gasoline underground storage tank (UGST) located <br />at the above referenced facility. The plan indicated that the <br />tank had been removed in May 1988. <br />Soil sampling performed beneath the former 600 gallon UGST <br />location was witnessed by the San Joaquin Local Health District <br />on August 22, 1988. Analytical soil results received <br />September 15, 1988 from California Water Labs revealed levels of <br />53 ppm Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons and 3.7 ppm Lead at 6 feet in <br />the former tank location. A re -excavation plan was submitted and <br />approved by the Health District on October 24, 1988, to perform <br />additional excavation in an attempt to remove remaining soil <br />contamination. Re -excavation was performed on November 14, 1988. <br />Analytical soil results received from California Water Labs on <br />January 11, 1989 revealed 7.9 ppm Lead in the tank excavation at <br />11 feet and 20 ppm lead in the soil stockpile. <br />The S.J.L.H.D. has determined no further action will be required <br />in the former tank location. However, the stockpiled soil shall <br />be addressed by one of the following alternatives: <br />1. Dispose of the stockpiled soil as Hazardous Waste. Soil to <br />be properly manifested and transported by a Registered <br />Hazardous Waste hauler to an approved hazardous waste <br />disposal facility. A photocopy of the hazardous waste <br />manifest shall be submitted to this office within 30 days <br />of stockpile removal.
